Safety and performance are our number one goals. Karting is a non-contact sport, and since motor sports can be dangerous, rules and regulations are enforced for your safety and enjoyment. It is your responsibility as a driver to know and follow our rules and system of flags.
Rule No. 1
Never get out of your Kart once the race starts. If you spin out or stall you must stay in your Kart.
Rule No. 2
Obey the flags and the flag marshals at all times.
Rule No. 3
No bumping. No nudging. No pushing each other into barriers. We will penalize you by slowing your car with our remote control if you do not obey this rule. If you continue to disobey this rule we will remove you from the race.
Rule No. 4
Never use the brake and the gas pedals at the same time. You will heat up the clutch, which will make your car go slower.
Rule No. 5
Never turn around in your seat, the exhaust is right behind you and will burn you if you touch it.
Rule No. 6
Once your race is complete pull up into pit lane. Stay seated until a CKC staff member shuts off your kart. Exit on the far side of the ranch style fence.
Rule No. 7
If you damage a kart or our facility you will be held financially responsible
No previous training, no special licenses, no executive orders necessary to experience the thrill of wheel-to-wheel competition. Racers must be a minimum of 4 ft. (1.52 Meters) tall, and need to sign our release form. A parent or legal guardian must sign for those under 18 years of age.
Arrive and be ready to go fifteen (15) minutes prior to your scheduled race time. Prior to every race, each and every driver must attend the race and rules briefing.
Understood, but worth noting
Never drink and drive. Same rule applies here. If you appear intoxicated, we reserve the right to refuse race time. Safety and performance are number one.
